Booking Details: Guest Details Overview

On NightsBridge, booking-specific information is presented within the Booking Details of each booking. This would be where you view and manage booking specifics such as the arrival and departure dates, guest information and communication, payment information and guest billing.

The Booking Details is divided into three sections.
This article is the 1st of 3, providing an overview of the Booking Details.

1. Guest Details 2. Booking Notes 3. Account
Providing booking dates, room, rate and occupancy information, as well as guest details, their extras and communication.
Providing the booking status, booker (Made by) details and external booking reference.
This will also display the booking source, applicable commission and the booking notes covering payment and other specific information.

Providing actionable access to booking and guest billing, as well as the payment status and booking history.

Guest Details

Here is a run-through of the information on the first panel - Guest Details.

Each collapsible section provides more information on a topic.

1. Booking IDs

Booking IDs are located at the top.

  • NBID:  This is a unique ID applied to all bookings that pass through NightsBridge.
  • Booking ID: This is a booking ID unique to your property.

The NBID is the best ID to provide when contacting NightsBridge for booking-related support.

2. Booking dates

The arrival and departure dates, as well as the length of stay fields are actionable. Click on the fields to amend the dates or length of stay.

Bookings from channels
Always ensure that any booking changes come directly from the booking channel before you change the dates. Date changes may affect the rate, which impacts the booking commission you're charged. This ensures that the commission is adjusted accordingly.

3. Room information

The allocated room(s) information. You are able to select the relevant room should more than one room be allocated to the booking.

  1. add another room to the booking
  2. change the allocated room to another available room
  3. split the rooms into standalone bookings (for multi-room bookings)
  4. remove the room from the booking
4. Rate/meal plan information

This is rate plan associated with the booking. As a drop-down menu, simply clicking on the field allows you to select another rate or meal plan

5. Occupancy information

Providing information on the occupancy booked, the number of guests can easily be updated by using the arrows to increase or decrease the number.

6. Guest information

Displaying the guest names, here you are able to:

  1. edit the information of the existing guest profile
  2. replace the guest profile with another
  3. email the specific guest
  4. view the guest account
  5. clear the 2nd Guest from the booking
7. Check In / Check Out

The 'Check In' and Check Out' tick boxes let you check bookings in and out while on the Booking Details.
You are only able to action these boxes on the booking arrival and departure dates.

8. View Extras button

Click the button to view any extra charges billed to the guest of the specific room.

9. Guest Communication button

The 'Guest Communication' button brings the everyday communication tasks to the front line.

Easily complete of the following from the Booking Details:

  1. download or print the booking confirmation
  2. automatically email the booking confirmation
  3. download or print the guest registration form
  4. copy the guest registration link - once shared, the guest can complete it online
  5. automatically email the Guest Chat link
  6. automatically email the guest registration link
  7. view the registration form

Using NightsBridge on a mobile device?

Booking Details - Mobile view information

The same Booking Details is available when using NightsBridge on a mobile device such as a smartphone.
To accommodate the various sizes of mobile device screens, the Booking Details mobile display is slightly different.

On a desktop computer or laptop, all three Booking Details sections are displayed at the same time. When viewing the Booking Details on a mobile device, the three Booking Details sections are available as separate tabs, displayed individually when selected.

Select the tab to view

The layout of each tab, resembles the desktop display as much as possible. This helps you remain confident when using NightsBridge on either desktop and mobile devices.
