That's where the booking preview comes in! It lets you take a quick sneak peek at crucial booking details right from your main screen, without having to open the full Booking Details page.
You can easily call (only on mobile) or email (both desktop and mobile) your guest directly from the booking preview
How to open the preview on your computer:
To check your booking details quickly on your desktop or laptop:
- Right-click on any booking on your calendar.
- A small preview card will pop open right away, giving you eyes on all the key details you need in an instant.
How to open the preview on your phone
When you are logged into your calendar on your phone, checking details on the go is just as simple:
- Tap and hold the booking on your calendar screen. The preview card will appear immediately. From there, you can read the quick info,
- or tap the View More button to slide straight into the full Booking Details page if you need to make changes.
What information can you see?
Think of the booking preview as a quick, helpful snapshot of your guest’s stay. At a single glance, it shows you:
- The guest's full name so you can welcome them personally.
- Their arrival and departure dates so you know exactly when to prepare their room.
- Their contact details (phone number and email address).
- Where the booking came from (your booking source, like Booking.com or your own website).
- Their payment status so you can see if their stay is settled.
- The booking notes section to check for any special requests, like dietary preferences or late check-in times.
Reach out to guests in just one click or tap!
If you need to contact your guest quickly, you can do it directly from the preview card without having to write down or copy their details first:
- To call them (on your phone): Simply tap on the guest's phone number. This will automatically open the number in your phone's voice call app, ready for you to make the call.
- To email them: Click or tap the email address. This opens your device's default email program with a new message addressed to the guest, ready for you to type your note.
