If the 'Entered' date on your NightsBridge Online Calendar (the date the booking was made) looks a little confusing (like seeing the month before the day!), it is simply because your calendar automatically uses the date format set by your computer's web browser.
Keeping your dates clear and easy to read helps you avoid booking mistakes and run a tighter ship. Here is how to quickly update your language settings in Firefox so your dates display perfectly.
The solution:
Step 1: Open your browser settings
While you have your calendar open,
- look for the Firefox menu button (those three little lines in the top right corner of your browser screen) and click on it.
- From that list, select 'Settings'.
- Once your settings open in a new tab, scroll down to the 'Language' settings and click the 'Choose' button.
Step 2: Choose English (United Kingdom)
To get that standard Day/Month/Year (dd/MM/yyyy) format, you will need to make sure English (United Kingdom) [en-gb] is set as the display language and sitting at the very top of your language list!
If you see it on the Web Page Language Settings, but it isn't at number 1:
- just select 'English (United Kingdom) [en-gb]' on the list,
- select 'Move Up'
- and click 'OK'.
If you don't see it on the list at all, no problem!
- Just click the 'Select a language to add' drop-down.
- Find and select English (United Kingdom) [en-gb].
- Click 'Add'.
- Make sure it shows on the top of the list and click 'OK'.
Once you have adjusted your settings, refresh all your open browsers.
