Booking Details: Account Overview

On NightsBridge, booking-specific information is presented within the Booking Details of each booking. This would be where you view and manage booking specifics such as the arrival and departure dates, guest information and communication, payment information and guest billing.

The Booking Details is divided into three sections.
This article is the 3rd and last article providing an overview of the Booking Details.

1. Guest Details 2. Booking Notes 3. Account
Providing booking dates, room, rate and occupancy information, as well as guest details, their extras and communication.
Providing the booking status, booker (Made by) details and external booking reference.
This will also display the booking source, applicable commission and the booking notes covering payment and other specific information.

Providing actionable access to booking and guest billing, as well as the payment status and booking history.

Account

Here is a run-through of the information on the third panel - Account.

Each collapsible section provides more information on a topic.

1. View Account button

The 'View Account' button opens the Account Summary. Here you are able to close accounts, issue invoices and process payments and more.

2. View Rates button

The 'View Rates' button lets you manage everything rate-related. Here you can amend the rates for a specific booking without changing any system rates.
You can change the rate sheet in use or manually amend the rates for each day as needed.

3. Check Out button

The 'Check Out' button offers the option to:

  1. copies the Checkout Link - once shared, guests can view and complete any outstanding payments
  2. automatically emails the Checkout Link to the guest
4. Billing totals

The section provides the totals for the Main Account of the booking.

5. Deposit

The Deposit field provides the deposit required based on the deposit policy applied to the rates for the booking.

  • Click on the 'Calculate Deposit' button to calculate the deposit based on the applied policy.
  • To override the deposit policy applied, click within the field to manually enter an amount as the deposit for this booking.
6. View Payment Status & Booking History

Clicking the 'View Payment Status & Booking History' button will open the payment-related information in a new window.

It will provide any online payment transaction information related to the booking along with other payment related actions.

7. Booking properties

The following will display:

  1. the date and time the booking entered the NightsBridge system
  2. the booking type - how the booking was made
    Booking types include:
    • Calendar - bookings manually added to your NightsBridge Calendar
    • NightsBridge - bookings made online via your NightsBridge Booking Engine or connected booking channels.

Using NightsBridge on a mobile device?

Booking Details - Mobile view

The same Booking Details is available when using NightsBridge on a mobile device such as a smartphone.
To accommodate the various sizes of mobile device screens, the Booking Details mobile display is slightly different.

On a desktop computer or laptop, all three Booking Details sections are displayed at the same time. When viewing the Booking Details on a mobile device, the three Booking Details sections are available as separate tabs, displayed individually when selected.

Select the tab to view

The layout of each tab, resembles the desktop display as much as possible. This helps you remain confident when using NightsBridge on either desktop and mobile devices.
