Booking Details: Account Overview

When you are looking at a reservation on your Booking Details page, you'll see it is neatly divided into three distinct sections. We've already explored the Guest Details and Booking Notes, so now let's take a tour of the third and final panel: the Account tab.

This section is your central hub for all things money-related, giving you actionable access to guest billing, payment statuses, and booking history. Here is a quick tour of what you can do from this panel:

Managing the money and rates

  1. View Account: Clicking this button opens up your Account Summary, where you can issue invoices, process payments, and easily close accounts.
  2. View Rates: Need to tweak the price just for this specific guest? This button lets you amend the rates for this booking—whether you want to change the rate sheet or just adjust a daily rate—without accidentally changing your main system rates.

Handling deposits and totals

  1. Billing Totals: This gives you a quick look at the total amount due for the booking's Main Account.
  2. Deposit: This field automatically shows the required deposit based on your property's policy. You can click 'Calculate Deposit' to refresh it, or if you've agreed on a different amount with the guest, you can simply click the field and type in a new amount to override the policy manually.

Wrapping up the stay

  • Check Out: Settling up is a breeze with this handy button. You can easily copy a Checkout Link or have the system automatically email it to your guest. Once they open the link, they can easily view and settle any outstanding payments online.

Tracking history and payments

  1. View Payment Status & Booking History: Click this button to open a brand new window filled with all the online payment transactions and actions related to this booking.
  2. Booking Properties: Want to know exactly how this reservation came to be? This area shows you the exact date and time the booking entered the NightsBridge system. It also tells you how it was made—whether you added it manually (labelled as "Calendar") or if it came in automatically (labelled as "NightsBridge") via your booking engine or connected channels.
