How to close an account?

An account can be closed without issuing a final (tax) invoice.

This can be used when complimentary (free) accommodation has been provided and payment will not be processed. Since there is no payment, a final invoice will not be generated.

Go to Accounts

Click on the booking to open the Booking Details.

  • Click ' View Account'.

Click on 'Close Account'

Confirm your action

Click the 'Close Account' button to confirm.

Remember: closing an account should only be processed if a client will not be invoiced.

Note the status change

Note that the account status has updated.

  • Click 'Save' on the 'Account Summary.
    You will be returned to the Booking Details.

Bookings with a 'Closed' status cannot be cancelled.
If you want to cancel a booking, the status will need to be uninvoiced (open).
