Sometimes a guest decides to bring family or friends along, or they simply realise they need a little more space for their stay! Adding an extra room to their existing reservation is quick and easy.
Instead of making a brand-new, separate booking, you can keep everything neatly grouped together under one reservation. Here is how to easily add a room to a booking:
Step 1: Open the guest's Booking Details
Click on the specific booking on your calendar that you want to update. This will instantly open up the Booking Details window for you.
Step 2: Add the new room
Look for the 'Add' button and click on it. This will open up a quick 'Add Room' screen where you can fill in the details for the extra space.
From here, you can easily:
- Select the specific new room you want to allocate to them.
- Update the client details if someone else is staying in that room.
- Change the applied rate, if you need to.
- Adjust the number of guests (occupancy) for the new room.
Once everything looks good, simply click 'Add Room'.
Step 3: Save your changes
Your Booking Details window will now show that two (or more!) rooms are securely allocated to this booking.
To lock these updates in, just click 'Save' at the bottom of the screen.
Finally, close the window using the 'X', and you will see the newly added room perfectly placed on your Online Calendar!
