How to Change the Arrival and Departure Dates for a Booking

Guests change their travel plans all the time. Flights get delayed, meetings move, or they simply decide they want to stay an extra day! Adjusting a guest's stay should be quick and stress-free.

Instead of cancelling the reservation and starting from scratch, you can easily adjust their dates right from their existing booking.

Here is how to do it:

Step 1: Open the Booking Details

Simply click on the specific booking on your calendar to open the Booking Details window.

From here, you have two easy options depending on what your guest needs:

Option 1: Changing the specific dates

This option is perfect if your guest is shifting their entire trip to a different week or month.

  • Simply click on either the 'Arrival' or 'Departure' date fields.
  • A handy calendar will pop up. Just click on their new dates!

A quick tip: Once you click the new dates, the system will automatically recalculate the total number of nights for you!

Option 2: Changing the length of stay

If your guest is arriving on the exact same day but just wants to extend or shorten their trip, this is the quickest method.

  • Hover over the "number of nights" field and simply use the up and down arrows to increase or decrease their stay.
  • This will automatically update their departure date for you.

Step 2: Save and review the rates

Because adding or removing days will change the total price of the stay, it is important to save your changes and let the system update the billing!

  • Click 'Save'. A pop-up will appear to alert you that the rates have been affected.
  • If you want to double-check the new daily rate breakdown, click 'No' to view the rate details.
  • If you are confident the rates are correct, simply click 'Yes' to return to the Booking Details.

Click 'Save' one last time to lock everything in!
