When two guests are sharing a room, capturing both of their details is a great way to offer a more personal welcome or ensure both names appear correctly on the invoice! Adding the second guest's information directly to an existing reservation is quick and easy.
Here is exactly how to do it:
Step 1: Open the Booking Details
Simply click on the specific booking right on your calendar to open the main Booking Details window.
Step 2: Start adding the second guest
Look for the '2nd Guest' field and click on the 'Change Guest' icon sitting right next to it.
Step 3: Check if they have stayed with you before
It is always best to use the search fields first to see if the guest's details are already in your system. This helps keep your records neat and ensures you do not accidentally create duplicate guest profiles on your NightsBridge system!
If their name pops up in your search results, simply click on it, and their details will instantly be added to the booking as the second guest.
Step 4: Add a brand-new guest
If they don't appear in your search, that just means they haven't stayed with you before! Simply click the 'Add Client' button.
A window will appear where you can capture their information, making sure to fill out any of the mandatory fields marked as 'Required'.
