How do I add the nationality of a guest?

Getting to know your guests is one of the best parts of hosting. Keeping track of where they are travelling from is also a brilliant way to better understand your market and figure out where you should focus your future marketing. If you want to add or change a guest's nationality on NightsBridge, we have made the process incredibly simple. This guide will walk you through the quick steps to update their profile.

Step 1: Find your guest's profile

First, let us track down the guest in your system.

  • Click on 'Search' on your Calendar.
  • Select 'Clients' from the drop-down list.

Type the guest's name or their ClientID into the search box to find them

Step 2: Open their details

Once you spot your guest in the search results, just click on their name. This will automatically open up their 'Edit Client' page.

Step 3: Select the nationality option

Now, look for the tab that says 'Extra Info' and give it a click.

You will see a drop-down menu next to the word 'Attribute';

  1. click on that to expand it.
  2. Select 'Nationality'.

Step 4: Type in the details

Next, you need to fill in the 'Value' field. Type the actual nationality of your guest.

A quick tip to make your life easier: It really helps to keep these nationalities standard so your future reports are neat and easy to group. For example, if your guest is visiting from Switzerland, we recommend just typing 'Swiss' rather than 'Switzerland' or 'Swiss-German'.

Step 5: Save your changes

Once you have typed in their nationality, simply hit the 'Save' button. The Client Search screen will pop back up, which you can now safely close.

Your guest's profile is now perfectly updated!
