How to change the guest on a booking

Workflows are not supported in your browser.
Please use a recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari to display this page.

The person making the booking is not always the guest that will be staying and sometimes, the original guest is replaced by another.
In these cases you may need to change the information of the staying guest.

Open the booking in you calendar

Click on the booking that you need to update to open the Booking Details.

Click 'Change Guest'

Click the 'Change Guest' icon.

Has the new guest stayed with you before?

You will know that a guest has not stayed with you before by first searching for the details of the guest. If you do not see this, you will need to add a new client.

Click "Add Client"

Enter the new guest's details

  1. Add the details for the new client.
    Should you need additional guidance on this, please look at our tutorial on how to add a guest or client to NightsBridge.
  2. Click 'Save'.

The guest details have been changed.

  1. Note that the guest details in the Booking Details have now been changed.
  2. Click 'Save'.

Search for the existing client

Search for the client.  This will prevent you from creating duplicate client records.

  1. Use the fields to search for an existing client.
    A list of possible matches will appear below.  
  2. Click to select the client from the list of results.
The guest details have been changed

Note that the guest details in the Booking Details have now been changed.
