How do I setup a web extra?

In this lesson:

- Learn to add web extras.

You can offer additional items to guests such as dinners, game drives, airport transfers etc.

Open the NightsBridge Setup program.

Add your Web Extra(s)

NOTES:

  • In order to add Web Extras, you need to have added stock items first. Have a look at our tutorial on how to add a stock item.

You now have the option to choose your Vat code. This will help you determine which stock are exempt from VAT and which items you pay VAT for. This will have to be setup in your stock. Follow the tutorial above to add a stock item.

This feature will only be available if your property has been marked as VAT registered in the setup. See our tutorial on how to complete the Basic Setup.

Under Advanced Options, (on the setup main menu), click on Web Extras.

To add a web extra, click on the blue Add button (on the bottom left-hand side).

  1. Select a rate sheet for the extra. (Default is RACK)
  2. Select the period this extra will be valid for by clicking on the drop down arrows next to valid from and valid until.
  3. Choose the extra from the drop-down list of stock items created.
  4. The price will automatically be populated.
  5. Save and Publish all changes.

Look at how your web extras are displayed online.

To see how your guests will get to pick any web extras, you need to navigate to your booking form.

This can be found on your Owner's Login.

Once logged on, hover over the Bookings menu item, then click on Online Booking.

On the booking form, follow the process as if making an actual booking.
All available Web Extras will be displayed on Step 3 of the booking process, just below the guest selection fields.
