TravelIT: How to Process a TravelIT Payment

Handling corporate payments should be a breeze! When you receive a booking through TravelIT, the payment process works a little differently than a standard guest booking. Because of their specific corporate rules, you can only process a TravelIT payment on the guest's day of departure, which means upfront pre-payments aren't possible. But don't worry about remembering the date. We will send you a handy daily email reminding you exactly when it is time to process it.

Step 1: Finding your payment link

There are two easy ways to get started:

Straight from your email:

The quickest route is simply clicking the "Click here for payment" link right inside your daily reminder email.

From the Booking and Payment Status page:

If you are already busy working in NightsBridge, just use the search bar on your Main Menu to search for the Booking ID, and open the Booking and Payments Status page.

Home — Mozilla Firefox

Once their details open up, simply scroll down and click the 'Click for Payment' button.

Step 2: A quick security check (TravelIT Registration)

If this is your first time using the TravelIT site, or if you've recently cleared your computer's cookies, you will just need to do a quick registration to verify your identity.

  • Simply pop in your first name, last name, email address, and ID number.
  • You will also need to add a South African mobile number, as they will send you a quick One-Time Pin (OTP) via SMS to keep everything secure.
  • Click 'Request One Time Pin'.

  1. Enter the code they send you (make sure there are no spaces!), and
  2. click 'Login with Pin'.

A quick tip: You can completely ignore the 'Username and Password Login' section at the bottom of the page. Properties don't use that part!

Step 3: Finalising the payment

Once you're logged in, the payment page makes things incredibly simple by automatically filling in the amounts authorised on the guest's voucher.

Checking what the guest was covered for.

If you would like to double check the details, the information will always be available on the booking voucher.

  1. Just double-check the accommodation amount and add any parking charges or agent-authorised extras if they apply (if there aren't any, just type a '0' in those fields).
  2. Capture the final "Invoice Total" amount and
  3. click the 'Pay Now' button.

If you ever see a little alert popping up saying the voucher isn't available for payment yet, it will tell you exactly which date it becomes active so you can easily try again then!
