How long do you have to respond to a guest's message in Guest Chat?

If a guest chooses to send you a message in Guest Chat's WhatsApp option, you need to respond within 24 hours.

How is the guest using Guest Chat?

  • WhatsApp Business works with conversation windows that last 24 hours when a guest or a business initiates a chat.
  • As guests initiate chats in Guest Chat, please make sure you respond to their messages within 24 hours before the conversation window closes.
  • If you do not manage to respond to your guest within 24 hours of a message being received, a new chat will need to be started.
  • There are no restrictions in WebChat for how long the chat stays active.
