EasyOTA : How it works

  • EasyOTA offers accommodation bookings on their website.
Who books here?
  • The public (potential guests) book online.
How to sign up
 
  • Please sign up directly with EasyOTA. A link to their contact details is provided at the bottom of this tutorial.
Bookings
  • EesyOTA makes instant bookings using the NightsBridge connection.
Content: Listing
 
  • You need to provide EasyOTA with your content (descriptions and images) as they will create your listing.
  • When your content or photos change, contact EasyOTA directly to update your listing.
Payments
  • The deposit is taken by EasyOTA. 
  • EasyOTA receives the deposit for the booking, deducts their commission and pays the balance to the property.
  • The property will need to invoice EasyOTA in order to receive payment. 
  • All payment-related queries should be directed to EasyOTA.
Refunds

 
  • The property should refund EasyOTA. 
  • EasyOTA will refund the guest.
Countries &Currencies
  • Countries 
    Properties in these countries can connect to Easy OTA:
    • South Africa
    • Namibia
    • Kenya
    • Tanzania
    • Zambia
    • Zimbabwe

  • Currency
    • Currencies will display as they are set up in NightsBridge.

 

Commission
  • Commission starts at 7.5% on a downward sliding scale to 5.0% (incl VAT) depending on the turnover. This is part of the property's agreement with EasyOTA.
  • EasyOTA invoices properties directly for commission, depending on their payment provider.
     
Rates
 
  • NightsBridge provides your RACK Rates as entered in your NightsBridge Setup to EasyOTA.
  • VAT and commission payable to EasyOTA must be included in your rates.
Specials and packages
  • Should you choose to, you can load and link Specials and Packages to EasyOTA via your NightsBridge Setup.
  • Please note that Specials and Packages rates will also have commission charged on top of the discounted rate.
Policies
  • Policies are negotiated and set up directly with EasyOTA.
    These include the:
    • Child policy
    • Minimum length of stay
