Chapter 1 | Navigating NightsBridge & finding help

Begin with the basics

We'll start out with some of the important basics of NightsBridge. This chapter shows you how to set things up and begin using your software confidently. We'll cover:

1. Logging in to NightsBridge

Logging in is easy when you know how. Just a few simple steps.

2. Right at the top -- staying updated with what's new.

When your Home screen opens, you’ll firstly notice the Bridgeworks Ninja at the top. Click on him any time to jump to our Bridgeworks page, where we share the latest NightsBridge updates and feature highlights all neatly summarised for you.

3. Navigation: Main menus

Your Home screen has two main menus as follows:

This blue menu bar at the left hand side is for daily operations (bookings, channels, communication).

Click on the three horizontal stripes at the top left to open the full menu list. You'll find links to take you to your system’s key sections.

  • Home
  • Quick View
  • Calendar
  • Guest Communication
  • Payments
  • Rates & Rules (Setup)
  • Channel Management
  • Content
  • Integrations
  • Help

Clicking on the blue smiley chat icon at the bottom left will open an online chat with our (human!) Ninjas.

Property Menu (top right)

This menu is for managing stable details (account settings, banking, user information).

Click on the dropdown next to the house icon to access the list view of your settings:

  • Property & Business Info
  • Payment & Banking
  • Billing / NightsBridge Account
  • Users & Security
  • Notifications & Alerts
  • Switch Properties
  • Logout

4. Navigation: Home dashboard icons

You'll see on hour Home dashboard a group of five buttons with icons:

  • Go to Calendar
  • Payments & Invoices
  • Quick View
  • Property Overview
  • Room Type Overview

These are shortcuts that take you straight to the most used, and useful areas of NightsBridge.

Go to Calendar

All your bookings at a glance. Click on this box to open your calendar, and then on any booking to show booking details.

Payments & Inoices

Payments & Invoices – view and manage your transactions.

Quick View

Quick View – click on this to see today’s arrivals, departures, and bookings in one snapshot.

Property Overview

Property Overview – this is where you'll update your property details quickly (photos, descriptions and more) when you need to.

Room Type Overview

Room Type Overview – adjust room details with ease.

That’s your dashboard in a nutshell. Everything you need is just a click away.

5. Getting help when you need it

Talk to a (human!) Ninja

Our team of NightsBridge Ninjas are ready to chat to you live and help you with your questions.

Clicking on the blue smiley chat icon at the bottom left will open an online chat with our (human!) Ninjas.

Online tutorials and guides

If you have a How Do I? question while working in NightsBridge the answer is always only a click away.

  • Click on Help (question mark icon) on the Main Menu (blue panel on left hand side),
  • Click View Tutorials to go to the main NightsBridge knowledge base,
  • Type your question into the search bar (just like Google), or start looking around the page for the topic you want to learn about.
