You can use the Payment Recon on NightsBridge to reconcile the payments you have received from NightsBridge with their corresponding bookings.
Identify the payment you received in your bank account
- Open your bank statement showing the payment received from NightsBridge.
In this example, we are working with the payment received on 19/10/2016 for R2,998.68.
Note for the payment:- the date
- the reference number
For this example, the reference number is 374202. - the transaction amount
The full reference displayed on your bank statement depends on the bank, but it would include 'Nightsb******' with the Transfer ID reference.
It may also have Netcash in front of it instead of Sagepay.
Find the booking number associated with the payment on the Payment Recon
Navigate to the Payment Recon
- On the side bar to the left, click the menu icon (the three lines) at the top to expand the Main Menu.
- Click on 'Payments'.
At the top of the Payments page, click 'Payment Recon'.
Click on the calendar to select a date range that you would like to see payments for.
View the payment
Use the Transfer ID to match the payment on your bank statement.
If more than one payment is made in one day, we will batch the payments to avoid multiple bank transfer fees.
- A reconciliation of all payments made to you by NightsBridge during the selected time period will be displayed.
- Find the transaction you are looking for.
- The transfer ID and the amount of the payment match the corresponding transaction on your bank statement.
- The amount paid is the booking amount less the credit card commission and bank transfer fee.
Identify the booking number
- We batch payments to you if you more than one payment is received on a day to avoid multiple bank transfer fees.
- The Payment Recon will show the booking number related to that payment when you select the drop down on the right-hand side of the booking ID.
- The payment ID is shown in brackets after the 8 digit NightsBridge booking ID (NBID).
