Once you're listed on Expedia, the next step to connecting NightsBridge to your listing is setting NightsBridge as your channel manager via your Expedia Partner Central. This is how you let Expedia know that NightsBridge will be used to manage your rates and availabilityon their platform. Once done, the NightsBridge Connectivity Team will link your rooms between the two systems and activate the connection.
This will be available to you any time after you have completed the registration with Expedia and your account has been approved.
The ability to select your channel manager on your Expedia Partner Central is only available once your listing is complete and approved by Expedia.
1. Log into your Expedia Partner Central
- Using your browser, go to:
- Log into your Expedia account for the listing you want connect to NightsBridge.
2. Select NightsBridge as your channel manager on Expedia
- Click on the menu icon to expand the menu (if needed)
- Click on 'Rooms and rates' to display more selection options
- Scroll though the options and select 'Connectivity settings'
- Click on the 'Get started' button
- Use the search field and type in 'NightsBridge'
- Click to select 'NightsBridge PMS' (this will appear once you start typing in the search field)
- Click on 'Next'
- Click on the 'Connect' button alongside 'Availability and Rates'.
This should automatically connect the 'Reservations' option as well.
- Click on the 'Next' button
- Click on 'Confirm' to process the connection request
Message: Provider connection failed
You may receive a pop-up notification showing that the connection failed.
This is because the default pricing model for your Expedia listing does not match the pricing model for NightsBridge.
This will be updated by Expedia Support.
3. Requesting a pricing model change from Expedia
Expedia has already automatically created a support ticket for your pricing model.
You will note a case ID within the pop-up message on your Expedia Partner Central. This ticket was automatically created when you selected to connect to NightsBridge.
4. Expedia will update your listing
Expedia Support will:
- update your pricing model
- email you confirmation of the change
- save NightsBridge as your channel manager.
You will receive email confirmation from Expedia once they have updated your listings pricing model and set NightsBridge as your channel manager.
Here is what the confirmation emails would look like and you may receive both:
5. Completing the connection and mapping between Expedia and NightsBridge
- Once you have finished these steps, the NightsBridge Connectivity team will complete the connection for you.
Your rates and availability set on NightsBridge will update to Expedia. - You will receive an email from us when the connection is active.
