How to add a non-refundable rate plan on Airbnb?

You can add a non-refundable rate plan directly on Airbnb.

Setting up a non-refundable rate plan, or another policy rate plan, can lead to more bookings, because you are giving guests options that can appeal to them, especially one with a lower rate. Offering a non refundable can also lead to fewer cancellations.

Open your rate plans

  • Go to www.airbnb.co.za
  1. Click on the three lines in the top right hand corner
  2. Click on manage listings
  3. Then click on Calendar
  4. Click on "Manage rate plans"

Length-of-stay restrictions

  • Add a minimum length of stay if required: Eg. A guest needs to book for at least 2 nights to see this rate plan.
  • Add a maximum length of stay if required: Eg. A guest cannot book for more than a 1 week to see this rate plan.

Lead-time restrictions

  • Add a minimum lead time if required: Eg. A guest cannot book this rate plan for the same day they arrive.

If you're going to set up a max booking lead time, please ensure that you update the max booking lead time on the NightsBridge created rate plan, by entering the amount of days away from your last season date in NightsBridge. This will prevent any availability issues. E.g. if your last season date is 2 years from today, then enter 730 days.

Save your rate plan information in order for the rate plan to display successfully to guests.
