NightsBridge booking engine settings

You are able to select what and how specific information is presented on your NightsBridge Booking Engine. This includes how guests see your availability and whether your default rate displayed is for single or double occupancy.

Go to General Settings

From the Home landing page, click 'General Settings'.

Select the options to apply

  1. Select the corresponding tick-box for the options you want to activate (or deactivate) on your NightsBridge Booking Engine.
  2. Click 'Save'.

Information on the General Settings options

Show Availability Grid

When active, this option provides users with a view of your availability in a grid calendar form.
Users would access this view by clicking on the 'View Calendar' button.

When a user clicks the 'View Calendar' button, they are presented with the view below:
While the calendar view is open, the button will display as 'Hide Calendar'.

When this setting is inactive, the 'View Calendar' button is not available on your NightsBridge Booking Engine.

Default to single

By default and when available, your NightsBridge Booking Engine will present your rates for double occupancy rate information.

The 'Default to single' tick box allows you to set this display to your single occupancy rate information.

Here's a tip!

If you know your property receives more single-occupancy bookings via your NightsBridge Booking Engine - perhaps you host many corporate guests that stay alone - select to display your single occupancy information. This way users don't have to adjust the occupancy down.

Similarly, if your property received more double-occupancy bookings - perhaps you're hosting more leisure guests - don't opt for the 'Default to single' setting.

Payment Settings

AMEX and Diners Club

By selecting the corresponding tick box for each card type, this will permit guests to book accommodation using these credit cards.

If you do not accept American Express (Amex) or Diners Club credit cards at your property, do not select these options.

Virtual Cards

When activate, NightsBridge will automatically process virtual cards, set as the booking payment method, on the activation date of the card.

More information on this is available in our tutorial 'Virtual cards: How they work'.

Scheduled Mails

NightsBridge has the ability to automatically send your guests the registration form, via email.

When activated, NightsBridge will send the check-in registration email at 17:00 daily, to each arrival due in the following day.
Guests then have the opportunity to complete the information which will automatically update their client details on NightsBridge.

For this feature to function, an email address must be provided for the client on NightsBridge.
