How can I offer different currencies on my website for guests to book?

If you want to offer different currencies for your international guests to book, you need to set up  different links that can be added to your website. There are a few steps to follow to create these links.

This is what an alternative currency will look like on your booking form.

Check if your payment gateway can support extra currencies

  • If a you have a payment gateway connected to NightsBridge, please check that your payment gateway can support these extra currencies.
  • For example, if a you are a South African property and using PayBridge, you need to be aware that payments will fail if you want to have a Dollar rate on your website, as PayBridge can only transact in ZAR.

Create a rate sheet in your preferred currency.

  • You will need to create an additional rate sheet. This is done in the same way as you would make a new STO rate sheet:

Link the alternative currency rate plan

Go to the Homepage

  • Click on the Homepage icon in the blue menu of the left-hand side of your browser.

Go to Channel Management

  • On the Homepage, click on Channel Management under Integrations.
  1. Find Alternative Currency under Web rates
  2. Pick the alternative currency rate sheet from the dropdown list
  3. Save.

Update this URL to make your preferred currency bookable

  • You can share this link on your website, social media platforms, Travel Agents or Tour operators for them to book in this currency.
  • Any bookings made from this link will have the source (alternative currency), which you can use to track how many bookings and revenue you got from this source.
