DPO (Direct Pay Online) is an online payment system that you can use to allow your guests to pay. NightsBridge integrates with DPO.

DPO can be used in most African countries excluding Mozambique and Mauritius.

- Virtual Card transactions
- Internal transactions on the DPO system

How does DPO work for deposits?
- When a guest makes an online booking via credit card, DPO deducts the deposit payment as specified by you.
- DPO will send you a payment confirmation email.
- If the card was declined, you should then send the guest the credit card link to attempt payment again.
- The DPO payment reference on the booking notes in NightsBridge can assist you with tracing payments in DPO.
How does DPO work for balance payments?
- A credit card link is available for the balance payment of each online or manual booking.
- You can send a credit card link to the guest via email for the balance payment on checkout. This can include any extras included in the booking.
- The credit card link can also be used for manual bookings (email, phone/walk-in) to take the deposit and balance payments.
- You can schedule an automated credit card link email to collect the balance before guest arrival.
How does DPO work for reversals?
DPO (Direct Pay Online) payment reversals cannot be processed on NightsBridge. Please contact DPO directly for assistance with reversals. Their contact details are:

How does DPO work on the NightsBridge booking form?
Bookings will always be made, regardless if the payment was successful or not. If the payment fails, please follow up with the guest to collect the outstanding deposit.
When a booking is made on your NightsBridge booking form. After the guest confirm the terms and conditions, the guest will be redirected to the DPO system to make payment.
Payment from your booking form will be done on the DPO system.
We will do our best to update NightsBridge with the DPO transaction result. However, sometimes the guest would cancel the transaction early and we therefore don't know what the result of the transaction was. We will notify you when this happens and you will need to check the payment on your DPO system.
