How to update regional settings and date format in BridgeIT - Firefox

BridgeIT draws the date format from the settings of your web browser and so these steps will show you how to change the format to your preferred one in Firefox.

Open menu options on web browser and click on Settings

To change date format you will need to make the changes on the web browser. To do that you will need to

1. Click on the browser menu

2. Click on options

Search for "language"

You can use the search field at the top in order to search for languages (step 1) and then the language formats appear below in step 2. You should then click on "Choose" in order to select your preferred language under step 3.

Select the preferred language format

 Select the correct date format which should be English (United kingdom) [en-gb] in order to get the dd/MM/yyyy standard date format. To add it you will need to select the language and then click on add.

Select the correct language and then click on OK

Choose the language that you would like to use and click on apply and restart

Go back to BridgeIT and refresh the page

Once you have changed the language all you will need to do is open BridgeIT and refresh the screen so that the changes can be updated.

Check to see if the date format has changed

At this point the date format would have changed to dd/MM/yyyy on all dates fields would have been updated with the correct format.
