Getting started

I already have a website. Can Springnest help me?

Springnest is a great option whether you are building from scratch or looking to upgrade an existing site. If you are moving from another host or platform, the Springnest team will guide you through the transition and handle the technical side of the switch. You do not need to figure it out yourself.

How long does it take to build my website?

The timeline depends on the size of your website and the process of sourcing the relevant content for your property. Most Springnest websites go live within 20 to 30 working days from when the build begins. The team keeps you informed throughout.

What design options are available?

Springnest uses a hospitality-specific theme framework built around best practices in hospitality web design. Within that framework there is significant flexibility to ensure your property is projected in its own unique way, through your colours, photography, fonts, and content. The benefit of this approach is that design decisions are guided by what works for hospitality properties, so you get a website that looks professional and converts guests, without having to make complex design choices yourself.

Managing your website

Can I update my website myself after it launches?

Yes. Every Springnest website includes a content management system that lets you update your photos, text, offers, and pages yourself. You can also add guest reviews, create pop-up notices, and load articles and events. No technical experience is needed. The Springnest support team is also available if you ever need a hand.

Do I own my website?

Your content, photos, and information belong to your property and can be exported if needed. A Springnest website is hosted on the Springnest platform and cannot be moved to a third-party host, but everything you put into it remains yours.

If I have multiple BBIDs, do I need multiple websites?

Not necessarily. It depends on your setup and business strategy. Properties with different BBIDs can in some cases be combined onto a single Springnest website, or separate websites may be the better approach depending on how your business operates. The Springnest team can advise on the right solution for your situation.

How does Springnest help with SEO, Google visibility, and AI search?

Springnest websites are built with search engine optimisation included, so your property can be found on Google. Your website is also structured to be visible in AI travel tools, so when travellers use AI assistants to find accommodation, your property has a better chance of being recommended.

Pricing and billing

What is included in my monthly subscription?

Your monthly subscription covers everything your website needs to stay live, secure, and effective. This includes hosting, an SSL security certificate, editing tools, marketing features, booking integrations, ongoing platform updates, and support from the Springnest team. New features released throughout the year are included at no extra cost.

Why is there a monthly fee? Can I just pay once?

No matter how or through whom you build a website, there will always be ongoing costs: hosting, security, maintenance, and updates. These are typically charged separately and can add up quickly. Springnest combines all of these into one straightforward monthly amount so you always know what you are paying and what you are getting. With a traditional agency, you would pay again each time you need a change or update. With Springnest, everything is included.

What if I don't log in or use my website every month?

Your website works for you around the clock whether you log in or not. It is live, taking enquiries, and supporting direct bookings every day. Most Springnest customers do not update their website every month, and that is perfectly fine. You use it when you need to, and it never stops working for you.

Do I get a discount on my Springnest subscription as a NightsBridge customer?

There is no additional discount for NightsBridge customers on the monthly subscription. The fee is R460 per month for all Springnest customers. However, if you already pay your NightsBridge fees in advance and receive a discount, that same discount applies automatically to your Springnest subscription. No extra steps required.

How does Springnest compare to building my own website on Wix or Squarespace?

DIY platforms like Wix could be a good option if you are comfortable building and managing everything yourself. Springnest is different. The Springnest team builds your website for you, customises it to your property, and provides ongoing support throughout. Your subscription also covers hosting, security, updates, and unlimited content edits without hourly fees. If you would prefer to have it built properly and supported along the way, that is what Springnest is for.

What happens if I cancel my Springnest subscription?

There are no long-term contracts. If you decide to cancel, your website goes offline at the end of your billing period.

What happens to my Springnest website if I cancel NightsBridge?

Your Springnest subscription is billed through NightsBridge, so if you cancel your NightsBridge account it is worth contacting both teams to understand how this affects your website billing. The Springnest team can advise on your options.

How does my Springnest website connect to NightsBridge?

Springnest is integrated with your NightsBridge BBID through a clear booking button and a bespoke booking widget that appear in optimal areas across your website. This ensures guests can move from browsing to booking without friction, while your availability remains accurate in real time.

Why should I request a Springnest website through NightsBridge?

Requesting through NightsBridge keeps everything in one place. If preferred, your Springnest plan can be added to your existing NightsBridge invoice, so there is no separate billing relationship to manage. The NightsBridge team is also on hand to support you throughout the process.
