How do I match Google My Business and NightsBridge listings?

You need to make sure that the information on NightsBridge and Google match. There cannot be any discrepancies between the two systems as all your channels (including Google) take the information you have on NightsBridge to build an online presence/profile.

If there are are differences in the information, you may have issues with duplicate Google My Business listings or problems with linking NightsBridge to Google.

Update your main property information and make sure it matches NightsBridge.

Update your property name (if it's not the same).

You need to make sure that the property name on Google matches what you have on NightsBridge. Make sure that the spelling is correct, there are no spaces in the name and is the name your guests recognise. It should be the name used in the real world and in your branding.

Do not try adding information in the business name on Google (such as location, holding company name, (PTY) Ltd, etc.).

Update the GPS location.

The information that you add in the Google My Business page will directly show in the Google Search results and in Google Maps. Make sure that the location pin on Google is as correct as possible.

If your property is bordered with 2 roads on either side, make sure that the location pin is closest to the actual entrance that you want your guest to access the property through, otherwise Google Maps might bring them to the wrong road.

The GPS pins provided on Google and NightsBridge need to be the same.

  • See our tutorial on how to set your location on NightsBridge.

Update your Address.

Together with the location, you also need to make sure your address is correct on both systems.

The addresses might be different because Google may have auto-generated the address based off of Google maps information and so you'd need to update it.
