How Tripadvisor automatic reviews emails work

NightsBridge, along with Tripadvisor, provides you with a service where an email is automatically sent out to a guest 7 days after departure, asking the guest to review their experience with your property.

Which guests will receive the  automatic emails?

  • Automatic review emails will be sent for all bookings made through NightsBridge. These include bookings made through channels you are linked on through NightsBridge and any manual bookings.
  • An automatic review email can only be sent if the booking has an email address loaded in the Client Details.
  • Every guest will only receive the review request once, even if they stay with you again in future.

What does the automatic review email look like?

  • The automatic review email is a standard template and cannot be edited.

How does the guest respond to the automatic review email?

  • Once the guest clicks on the link in the email they are taken to the page to complete their review.
  • The guest is required to enter a review of a minimum of 200 characters.
  • Once the guest has completed the review they will be asked to provide name, area and location. Tripadvisor cannot publish anonymous reviews.

How will I know if the guest reviewed my property?

  • You should be registered as a property owner on http://www.tripadvisor.com/owners  to receive notifications of all reviews.
  • If a review is completed by a guest, you will receive a notification.

How do I activate Tripadvisor automatic review emails?

  • To opt-in to this service, you can request the link through your Links Manager in the Owner's Login.
  • This tutorial provides more information on how to do this.
