Add a direct booking link to your TikTok profile

If you would like your visitors to be able to book your property via your TikTok profile you can add a link to your booking engine. This link will take visitors from your TikTok page straight to your NightsBridge booking engine with one tap.

By adding this link you also will be able to identify TikTok as the source of those bookings.

Set up your TikTok business account

To add a direct booking link (url) to your TikTok profile you must first make sure you have a TikTok business account for your property (not simply a personal account).

Read this tutorial on how to create a TikTok business account.

Go to your property's TikTok business account on your smart phone.

  • Go into the Profile tab (if you're not there already).
  • Tap Edit profile > Add your website.
  • Type in your direct booking link (url) and click Save.

Important: You will type in the following link, replacing xxxxx with your property's unique five digit NightsBridge BBID (e.g. 12345):

https://book.nightsbridge.com/xxxxx?nbid=1038

Even after you're a business account, you still might run into issues adding a link to your TikTok bio. Here are a couple of frequently cited issues that may cause problems with links:

  • Computer browser: Right now, only the TikTok mobile app will allow you to add clickable links to your bio. So, make sure you're on your phone and not your computer.
  • Personal account: This reason is the most common. You still have a personal account instead of converting it to a business one.
  • The feature is not enabled on your account: While TikTok has rolled out this feature to almost everyone at this point, some people still don't have this enabled. If that's the case for you, unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it yet.

Once you have saved your changes, go to your profile and tap on the link. You should be redirected to your own booking form. If not, check you added your five digit NightsBridge BBID correctly.

Track your TikTok bookings

Any booking made after someone has clicked on this link in your TikTok profile will show up as 'TikTok' as that booking's 'Source' in NightsBridge.

You'll also see TikTok recorded as the booking source in all the reports where that is listed.

Read our tutorial on how to view your online booking totals.
