How to update 'The fine print' section on Booking.com

Booking.com provides a 'Fine Print' section on each listing. This section is visible on the public page of each listing and provides what Booking.com considers information guests need-to-know before they book.

Log into the Booking.com Extranet

Open the 'View your descriptions' section

  1. Select the Property tab to open the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on 'View your descriptions'

Select the standardised phrases to include in the 'Fine print' section

Scroll down below the Property description and Room descriptions sections, where you will find the The fine print section. Here you can choose what important information you want guests to be aware of before they make a booking.

  1. Select any of the standardised phrases that apply to your property by ticking the appropriate box.
  2. Scroll down and click on blue 'Request a fix' bar at the bottom of the page to save your selections.
Once clicked, the standardised phrases will automatically appear on your listings.

Requesting to add additional information to 'The fine print' section

Should you not see a standardised phrase that covers the information that you would like to add, you are able to request information to be added.

1. Click on 'Can't find what you're looking for above?' (the blue hyper-linked text). A free-type text box will appear.

2. Add the information that you would like Booking.com to include within 'The fine print' section of your listing.

3. Click on blue 'Request a fix' bar at the bottom of the page to save your selections.

Booking.com will review your request and respond accordingly.  The average response time will be show and you can expect to see the reply within the Booking.com messages, in the Inbox tab.
